Abstract

In December 2024 on a year on year (y-on-y), Bali Province experienced inflation of 2.34 percent with the Consumer Price Index (basic year 2022=100) of 107.87. The highest inflation was recorded in Denpasar City by 2.69 percent with a CPI of 108.16 and the lowest inflation was recorded in Singaraja by 1.93 percent with a CPI of 107.70.

Annual inflation (y-on-y) occurs due to the rising price of the total commodities indicated by the rise of CPI in ten expenditure groups, namely: food, beverage and tobacco groups rose by 3.87 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 1.19 percent; housing, water, electricity, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.41 percent; the household’s daily equipment, equipment and maintenance group by 0.78 percent; the health group of the health sector by 0. Meanwhile, one group recorded a decrease in the index, namely the group of information, communication, and financial services fell by 0.55 percent.

On a monthly basis (month to month / m-t-m), Bali Province recorded inflation of 0.13 percent. While on a year to date (y-to-d), recorded inflation of 2.34 percent.
