In November 2024, year on year (y-on-y), Bali Province experienced inflation of 2.50 percent with a Consumer Price Index (base year 2022=100) of 107.54. The highest inflation was recorded in Denpasar City at 2.82 percent with a CPI of 107.95 and the lowest inflation was recorded in Singaraja at 1.98 percent with a CPI of 107.36.
Annual inflation (y-on-y) occurred due to the increase in the prices of observed commodities as indicated by the increase in the CPI in ten expenditure groups, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group increased by 4.19 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.08 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group by 0.30 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.64 percent; health group by 0.79 percent; transportation group by 0.94 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 2.05 percent; education group by 2.99 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 4.35 percent; and personal care and other services group by 3.65 percent. Meanwhile, one group was recorded to have experienced a decrease in the index, namely the information, communication, and financial services group, which fell by 0.51 percent.
On a monthly basis (month to month / m-t-m), Bali Province was recorded to have experienced inflation of 0.50 percent. Meanwhile, on a year to date (y-to-d) basis, inflation was recorded at 2.03 percent.
