Abstract

In June 2017, in Denpasar there was a deflation of 0.01 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 125.57. The deflation occurred because the drops of price, that indicated by the decline in the index in the foodstuff category which experienced a deflation of 1.23 percent. While the group that experienced an increase in index recorded as many as six groups of expenditures namely the group of finished food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco and clothing group respectively by 0.56 percent; Health group 0.27 percent; Housing groups; Water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.26 percent; Education, recreation and sports group by 0.13 percent; As well as the transport, communications and financial services group by 0.12 percent.
