Abstract
The Farmer Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is a comparison of the price index that farmers receive (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of farmers’ ability / purchasing power in the countryside. NTP also shows the term of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The NTP index of Bali Province in January 2025 was recorded at 103.02 or up 1.73 percent compared to the previous month's condition.The increase in the NTP index was caused by an increase in the Price Index received by Farmers (It) by 2.82 percent, higher than the increase in the Index paid by farmers (Ib) which was recorded at 1.07 percent.
Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 123.68 or up 0.73 percent compared to the previous month. In January 2025, the Bangka Belitung Provincial NTP Index was recorded to experience the highest increase in NTP, by 3.64 percent. In contrast, NTP West Sulawesi Province recorded the deepest decline, by -2.54 percent.
The Bali Provincial Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in January 2025 was recorded at 128.33 or rose as high as 1.29 percent compared to the previous month's conditions.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Bali Province January 2025 was recorded at 109.90 or up 2.11 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
