The Farmer Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
The Bali Province NTP Index in November 2024 was recorded at 99.13 or an increase of 0.35 percent compared to the previous month. The increase in the NTP index was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) of 1.56 percent, higher than the increase in the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which was recorded at 1.20 percent.
Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 121.29 or an increase of 0.49 percent compared to the previous month. In November 2024, the Bengkulu Province NTP Index was recorded to have experienced the highest NTP increase, at 4.79 percent. On the other hand, the NTP of Gorontalo Province was recorded to have experienced the deepest decline, by 2.64 percent.
The Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of Bali Province in November 2024 was recorded at 125.76 or increased by 1.68 percent compared to the previous month.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of Bali Province in November 2024 was recorded at 104.82 or increased by 1.51 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
