Abstract

In August 2017 in Denpasar there was inflation of 0.26 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 126.05. The calendar year inflation rate is 2.40 percent. Year-on-year inflation rate (YoY) of 3.46 percent.

Inflation was attributable to the increase in prices of some goods / services as indicated by the increase in index in the education, recreation and sports group by 1.24 percent; transport, communication and financial services group by 0,43 percent; health group by 0.28 percent; food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco group by 0.22 percent; clothing group by 0.11 percent; foodstuffs by 0.04 percent; and housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel groups by 0.02 percent.
