Inequality Level of Population Expenditure of Bali Province September 2024

Abstract

  • In September 2024, the level of inequalities of population expenditure in Bali Province was measured using Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.348. This figure fell by 0.013 points when compared to the condition of March 2024 which was recorded at 0.361 and fell 0.014 points when compared to the conditions of March 2023 which was recorded at 0.362.
  • The urban ratio in September 2024 was recorded at 0.352. This achievement fell by 0.012 points when compared to the condition of March 2024 which was recorded at 0.364 and down 0.015 points when compared to the condition of March 2023 which was recorded at 0.367.
  • The rural ratio in September 2024 was recorded at 0.285. This achievement fell by 0.002 points compared to the condition of March 2024 which was recorded at 0.287 and dropped by 0.005 points when compared to the conditions of March 2023 which was recorded at 0.290.

    The province of Bali in September 2024 for the bottom 40 percent group was recorded at 18.88 percent. This shows that the level of inequalty of population expenditure in Bali Province is in the category of low inequality levels.
  • The distribution of population expenditure in urban areas for the bottom 40 percent group was recorded at 19.15 percent and in the countryside was recorded at 20.80 percent. This suggests that the level of inequalities of population expenditure in both regions is included in the category of low inequality.
