Abstract

In April 2019, the number of international air transport planes departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was recorded at 2,947 flight units. This figure is recorded an increase compared to the situation in the previous month (m to m) which reached 2,888 flight units, or an increase of 2.04 percent. The same condition occurred in the departure of the number of international flight passengers recorded to increase by 4.78 percent (m to m), from 513,958 people in March 2019 to 538,531 people in April 2019. While the departure of the number of baggage and international air transport goods decreased compared to the previous month (m to m) of -5.36 percent, from 11.17 million tons to 10.57 million tons.

The departure of domestic air transport planes from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in April 2019 was recorded at 3,327 flight units, up 3.45 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,216 flight units. Of the ten main destinations for domestic departures, the highest percentage increase was recorded in domestic air transportation flights to Yogyakarta reaching 13.10 percent. While the number of aircraft departures for Jakarta / Halim Perdana Kusuma and Solo has decreased by -13.39 percent and -7.78 percent respectively.
