Abstract

Human development in Bali continues to progress. In 2018, Bali's Human Development Index (HDI) reaches 74.77. This figure increased by 0.47 points or grew by 0.63 percent compared to 2017.

Babies born in 2018 have hopes to live up to 71.68 years, 0.22 years longer than the previous year. Children who are in 2018 aged 7 years have the expectation of being able to enjoy education for 13.23 years, 0.02 years longer than in 2017. Meanwhile, the population aged 25 years and over has on average been educated for 8 , 65 years, 0.1 year longer than the previous year. In 2018, the Balinese will fulfill their daily needs with an average per capita expenditure of 13.89 million
rupiah per year, an increase of 313 thousand rupiah compared to the previous year.
