Abstract

The economic condition of consumers / people of Bali in general in the fourth quarter of 2018 was in a more comfortable position compared to the previous quarter. This can be seen from the Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) this quarter which was recorded at 120.96. The comfort level of consumers in this quarter was getting better with an increase of 13.09 points from the previous quarter which was recorded at 107.87.

The increase in ITK this quarter was driven by an increase in the index for all ITK components. Consumers' perceptions of income improvement have risen, with an index of 116.13. The volume of consumption increased, with an index of 118.65. Inflation is also seen as increasingly having no effect on consumption levels, with an index of 131.86.
