At the beginning of 2019, Karangasem recorded a Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of 31.06 percent. This room occupancy rate decreased by 1.87 percent compared to the previous month, December 2018.

While the average length of stay of guests (foreign and domestic) in Karangasem starred hotels is 3.44 days. This achievement is slightly shorter than the average length of stay in January 2018 which was 3.83 days.

If sorted by Foreign and Domestic, then the average length of stay of foreign guests is still longer than local (domestic) guests. This is evident from the average number of stays of foreign guests is greater, which is for 3.23 days while domestic guests only for 1.30 days.
