A little about the Data Collection of Food Crops Statistics, it can be explained that this activity is the activity of collecting data about the area of food crops harvest. This activity itself is implemented in order to improve the existing data of harvested area. Unlike the previous harvest area data using the eye estimate method or eye view, then in this activity, data collection using a method called the Sample Area Framework (KSA).
With this method is expected, the resulting data more accurate and more objective, because it involves the role of technology in it. The technology in question is the utilization of georeferenced spatial data combined with field data collected by utilizing more objective digital applications.
For the field implementation, this activity is held on the last 7 days of each month, and is implemented in all regions of Indonesia. BPS Kabupaten Karangasem itself, has begun to implement it starting on 25 January. This activity involves BPS organic energy assisted by several reliable partners. There are as many as 1 Organic staff and as many as 4 non-organic staff are involved in this activity.
In the future, from this activity, it is hoped that more accurate and objective harvest data will be obtained so that the measurements related to the government's food crop production capacity can reflect the actual conditions, and in itself the policies to be adopted are appropriate and appropriate target.
